The Barbarella one would be interesting - can't imagine Maxis making any clothes like those.

Having recently downloaded a pile of custom content I found I had acquired chickens and cockerels in amongst the decorative items. Does anyone have SimPE who could make one of them behave like an alarm clock? I'm building a farm and it'd be cool to have my Sims woken up by a cockerel in the mornings rather than an electronic alarm clock.

I want someone to build me a small stone cottage on a large plot with plenty of landscaping and a swimable / fishable pool with a waterfall at one end.

(I dont want much)
(I have simple tastes)

Oh and large shady trees, Ren is a dog, dogs like trees.

Ren's house is built from local stone and timber and is set on an incline. A peaceful lake, with a trickling waterfall, lies adjacent to the house...


Follow the dirt path to the wooden stairwell for access to the property...

A number of trees give the property a secluded feel and many species of wildflower can be found growing in the grounds...

The swimmable lake contains a marvellous bounty of fish for the more self-sufficient Sim, while providing ample fun and exercise...

My later houses won't all be stored on the TS2 site and I can always upload houses elsewhere if people want them.

It would help if you can specify which EP and Stuff packs you have.

Joining the TS2 site is free and is only a matter of registering your Sims 2 game and any EPs - you can do that in a matter of minutes using the EZReg tool.

Go to C:/Program Files/EA GAMES/ and go to the Sims 2 folder. Open the Support folder and double-click EZReg.exe - do this for every EP you own, too.

I'm using SnapDrive for the larger houses at the moment but may start uploading my older files at another time.

I'll see what I can do... I start work with the high school kids again this week so I'm sure I'll have lots of stress to work out by building. Could you maybe find a picture of a house you like for me to check out?

Cyber, I'm kinda with Fallout about the exchange...They have rules that I still haven't figured out about uploads... my houses are usually erased after a few days up there.

Anywho, if you get me a pic of something, I'll build something and then I'll upload something and then maybe you'll see something you like, fallout!

I'm losing patience with the Exchange as it happens - they're purging a lot of my houses at the moment, including the 4-star ones, so I'll be uploading all my houses to SnapDrive and 4Shared as soon as I can. I'm back to work from Friday onwards (training days... grr...) so I'm catching up on work stuff first before I do any Simming.

Isn't it awful when your houses start getting good ratings and then they get taken down?

I started back to work with teacher training days today, so I feel you on getting back into the grind... our Dean of Students made me rearrange my whole classroom and got rid of half my furniture. It was traumatic as hell.

My boss will probably do that to me, too. I'm going in tomorrow and Thursday (two days early) to get the music room sorted out - we've finally got a room for practical music away from the other classrooms - and you can just bet I won't have a minute's peace in which to get it organised. Ho-hum.

I like to play base game games, am I the only one? I have no upgrades and no custom content. Actually I build houses as the Sims seem to spoil them so I just build.

I like to open up just the base game from time to time too - I seem to get more people downloading my base game lots.

I don't think they're from Second Life, though - they look too well-rendered to me. The top one looks like one of those 70s paintings of the girls with the huge eyes and tiny faces. They might have been done in Maya 3D or something.

I know you don't use any CC in your game but you might want to try somewhere like ModTheSims2 as they have some fairly realistic looking skins for Sims.

Hi Cyber, I found a site that offered an electric toaster download. They now e-mail me 5 times a day and I am also receiving e mails from an adult sim site, I will P M you the details. I have now transferred them to my spam folder, the site is run by a guy called Darren so be warned.
