Sims 3 Antici...pation!

I'm hoping for...

- circular walls
- archways for front doors
- a spiral staircase tool, possibly from the connecting stairs but easier than mucking about with boolprop the whole time
- a wider range of cars
- a wider range of instruments the Sims can play - like a cello, a harp, a grand piano (I mean, come on, you could do it in Sims 1, so why not in 2?)
- a neighbourhood sculpting tool, rather than having to import from SimCity 4

townies and work/school friends that age with your sims.
it felt so strange having the same childhood friends that billys grandfather was friends with.

make basments, split leavel rooms and atic rooms easier to make, i know you can do it now, but you needto do a lot of tweeking to get it right.

have a story mode similer to sims2/busting out on the PS2, but also keep freeplay for thouse who prefer that mode.

well i got more ideas but i will put them up when i use my main pc so i can type it up in MSword, i feel a little guilty submiting you all to my bad spelling all the time lol

how about sims can be born with skill points, say mother sim has 7 in creativaty and father sim has a 6 in logic then a child sim could start out with a 3 or 4 in thouse areas(max of corse, we dont want people cheating now )

rather then just meeting skills and friend levels, how about a mini game to see if you get the promotion or not. if you fail the mini game you get another few days at that level.

use your simolians (the ones gained fairly) to get new items off line and buy stuff to customise your sims page.

just a few more crazy new ideas

I really want to see more modern building tools, like instead of just walls having glass walls, and the ability to just build alot more freely. Much like your wants cyber! =D

hard to answer, seems thers a never ending list of things that could be improved, lets face it, virtual stuff is never gonna be the same as real life. still here are just some things that i think could be better.

Pool walls that you can change the colour of. i know theres already a cheat to do it, but it'd be much easier if it wer made that way.

Going to work with your sims. that would be cool, i mean i knows there's business, but thats only if they work for themselves. come on, you know you've always wanted to meet that big boss that sends your sims back in such a bad mood.

I think that bodyshop should be more detailed. i know i know, they worked really hard on the face mlding stuff etc, but clothing should have more areas to it, like accesories etc. maybe im just picky...

I'm a music fan and i think the music stuff could be improved. Maybe your sims could actually buy cd's to play, and you could put your own cd on their, cover and everything. If they did that it would be kinda cool to be able to buy records etc. retro sims! woo! And how about live concerts form sim celebrities!! (am i pushing it with the ideas here?)

I think sims should be able to travel places and stuff (they do it in sims 1 anyway...). You should be able to chuck your sims on a plane, and fly them off to a posh hotel, or theyr holiday house in ireland. Maybe they could open their own hotel..

The celebrity Sims were possible in the first game, so why not with newer games?

Turned out they were fake - but how many people had fallen for it after doing a Google search?

the us site dosent mention it.. its hard to find out much about sims 3 at all right now.

Wow really. that sounds so cool! i'd buy them except our PC runs low enough already. its a really lousy one seriously . only 8months until we get a new one...

I think that even though sims 2 improved alot they dropped a few of the really good things in the original. kind of annoying really...

I agree - a lot more thought went into having matching sets of objects in The Sims 1 and some of the interactions were pretty cool, too. Plus it was much easier to create your own stuff.

Yeah, they're keeping it pretty close to their chests right now. I still remember what a shock it was to me when they released TS2 - it was like something from another world. I just bet I won't be able to run TS3 without buying a new computer. Every EP seems to be getting hungrier for memory and processor speed.

i would like to have it so your in a sim view and you can switch off from 3rd person and 1st person

and more vehicles that you will realy drive in first person and 3rd person

That makes me think of how cool it would be if they had Drivers Ed and you actually had to take a test to pass and get your license.

Oh Lord, Imagine if they actually made it to where you could go to hospitals and doctor's offices when you were sick. And have automobile accidents where ambulances would come and pick you up and take you to the hospital.

I think it would be nice if they had bills for specific things like Mortgage or Rent, electricity and water (utility bills) A Phone Bill and T.V/Internet Bill. Not that you would have to pay more, but that you would have bills that said what they were specifically for.

First Aid would be a cool skill don't you think?

Vista is evil. They put this power hungry monster on a computer with 512mb. They should have at least made this a 1gb RAM computer, it would have sort of made more sense.

I have been so spoiled because I started with all the stuff packs, except for H&M, and EP's, up to Season, when I got Sims 2 from my Uncle.

Lol, am i the only one who noticed that it uses the same interface as sims2 and that they would hardly put a real car make in.
not only that but thouse screen shots have been going around for well over 2 years now .

if sites want to make it look real, at least make more of a effot

It one of those renders of future development builds! You know when they are building a new tower of appartments or shopping center and they just add random models of people and cars! :p with a TS2 interface stuck on probably in paint!

I wouldnt like it to much like real life, i like the way they pay one bill. I like the way they dont have to goto the hospital. I wish fires were more realistic, things aged, things got dirty, walls burnt, when there was a fire they left the building instead of standing right by it and jumping like a tit to what i can only assume ammounts to "keeping warm"

I like the idea of recolouring anything in game and I like the look of some of the buildings and everyday objects in the seamless neighbourhood. It'll be nice not to have to look at loading screens every time I want to move from one house to the next.

Still, some interesting shots of backgrounds etc....

Can't believe the release date has been set back to June now. Sigh.
