Sims 2 vs. Sims 3

So come on... thoughts? Which is better?

i preffer sims 3 its more realisitic and easier for kids to use. got 1 question tho, why do they always go right back to basics and leave oyt the best content until the eps come out? have they run of out idea?

Still prefer Sims 2. I find the custom content much more realistic. I think the challenge of creating your own CC has gone out of TS3. If I could bother finding some photorealistic skins it might make them look a bit less rubber-faced too.

When I was redesigning the logo for this site I found one of the preview TS3 Sims. He's in the logo now. Don't you think he looks like Shane Ritchie?

I haven't played Sims 3 enough to develop an opinion, I think I prefer Sims 2 at the moment though. Sims 3 seemed overly complicated and I didn't actually like the pattern thingy. plus pudding faced Sims are ugly. I know Delphy designed the slider tool thing, but I can't be bothered with learning completely new way of playing when I actually really like the one I have (Sims 2)
