Custom stair railings in Sims 2

Casting my mind back, I remembered that I had built a house using a fence to create a custom stair rail.

I believe it's here somewhere [EDIT: Found it - It's this one.]

I have never been too keen on some of the rails provided with the modular stairs and decided to investigate ways to make custom ones.

I recall a lot of playing around with good old boolprop.

Anyway, whilst building the 'Wilmes-' estate, I decided to get my teeth into it again. Here are some examples so far:
