Having done some project work with the kids on alternative energy and environmentally friendly housing, we built our own eco-houses in SketchUp. Some of the kids also used TS2 to build some initial designs for homework. Good website at http://www.baufritz.co.uk if you want to take a look.
I thought I'd leave SketchUp for a bit and actually try building a design in TS3. Might do a TS2 version as well (I have a waterwheel for TS2).
Anyway, enough waffle, here's my design:
I've left a lot of the grounds prepared for vegetable patches etc. but as TS3 does not yet have any vegetable gardening stuff I can't do much with it. Need some hints with planting and not furnished yet, but I'm going to go for quite light, airy rooms so I want to keep the decor really simple. Most of the houses I've seen in this style have a lot of white furnishings. Need some CC desperately!
As soon as I've finished it, I'll be adding it to the TS3 Downloads section.
Let me know what you think (if there's anyone out there, that is).
