I've just had a huge nostalgia trip after digging out my old Quake CD and playing a couple of levels. Don't ask me why, I just had an urge to have a go again.

Somebody installed it in the computer lab at uni - one of the first ever online multiplayers. I once walked in to work on an assignment to find 12 students, 1 lecturer and 1 technician (who was *meant* to be removing the game from the PCs) playing a deathmatch. Honestly. Nuh-uh!

similer thing happend at my school, the technician was asked to remove Grand theft auto demo(the one with the top down view), he did that and instaled the full version.
so my IT leasons for that term involved the teacher watching home and away on his computer with a tv adapter and the class playing games.

its sad, but i have yet to play multiplayer on my Pc Sad

but i have played quake on the PS2, though the AI bots were rather predictable

We spent about three weeks playing Xor on BBC Micros when I was in the 2nd year at secondary school. *Feels old*

Yeah, the AI bots are too predictable in the original Quake - I always knew where to duck down / hide / swim / whatever. The secret areas, however, are a different story...

Just started assassins creed, loads of people have said it’s
a repetitive game but I am loving the

Story. Set in the middle ages around the crusades you play a
member of an assassin’s guild.

It really makes you question morality, like one of the first
contracts on your list is a doctor that takes people against their will to
experiment on them; even though loads suffered he was able to help many with
the research he obtained, so in his eyes he belived he was helping humanity, but he saw the error of his ways when the end came Evil or Very Mad
