Which browser are you using?

I use Firefox. It's pretty good, more reliable than IE. They won't let me use Firefox at work though *cries*.

Just the Basic IE. my laptop is reaching critical mass now so Firefox tends to slow it down a lot.

I didnt notice any difference, betwen the two apart from every site i went to requiered some sort of download to make it compatable

(ok i set my self up now in front of a fiering line)

I use Firefox myself.

I've been using it for years. I don't think I could ever go back to IE.

well i think i am the odd one out here, everyone is using firefox, yet i cant see how it offers more then IE

I have to put up with IE at work every day and the number of crashes I have to deal with just isn't funny. I had no end of problems with IE at home, too, so I thought I'd give Firefox a try. Once you've downloaded all the plugins (which, to be fair, you have to do with IE, too) there's really no competition. I run Firefox 2 with McAfee Site Advisor as a widget and it's made my PC more secure than it has been in a long time. I only ever switch back to IE if I'm editing our school Online Learning Environment as that was designed to be edited with IE. Apart from that, Firefox rules.

IE is the gateway to spyware and other such crad!

Tabbed browsing...Mmmmmm!!

On my laptop I use ClipMarks a lot. Very useful for getting cool stuff from web pages.

There's a portable Firefox which you can use from a memory stick, so nothing has to be installed on your PC at all.

Google Docs for sharing docs between school and work (and encouraging kids to practise with spreadsheets when they don't have Excel at home)
Google Notebook (not as limited as ClipMarks)

SoThink SWF Catcher
FLV Player for when I've captured YouTube videos etc.
AdBlock Plus

I'm having to use IE right now as Firefox is being weird and keeps crashing on me... ick.

Using Firefox on here at the moment, ususally Google Chrome when im just checking one thing, as it takes a less than a second to boot and load my home page.

Firefox portable on the laptop as its much kinder.
