got this idea from cybers Lego post, from the how stuff works and came across this little program Smile

http://ldd.lego.com/download/

you can make anything on this program, without having to worry about cleaning up the little bits of lego when your done.
i am going to make a few basic designs to start with.

and whats more, if you fancy making it in RL, Lego will price it and send you all the parts you need (but i doubt i will be doing that any time soon, idue to lack of space in my room Very Happy

I've already got it - and installed it on all the PCs at work, too! Very Happy
It's good but check your video card drivers are up-to-date - it has a habit of suddenly blurring out all the text onscreen if you don't!

yeah its pushing my laptop to the limit, i tried to download one of the prebuilt models off the net, and it went to a almost standstill Laughing .
i might try one of them lego robotnic sets though they look cool as heck, and its something to keep my hands busy.
all this gaming is making my mind too active, so i am lossing a lot of sleep.

First, build or open your model, then go to View Mode. Look for an icon that looks like a filmstrip with a little bomb next to it. Click and watch the model explode.

For a real Matrix effect, right-click and drag the mouse around while the bricks are still floating in mid air. Very cool! Cool

Building Instructions mode is quite cool too. You can watch the model build itself.

I've got three robotics kits and they're fab. You might want to look at what my kids did with them...

Yeah, it's amazing what kinds of stuff can accumulate on your hard drive after a while. How are you backing up?

I tend to use DVD-Rs to save big stuff like my Sims houses and families and downloads and... you get the picture. geek

Is it a bird? Is it a plane? Is it a chimp? Possibly...

Match Dubya's face with the corresponding primate. Silly but fun!
