TS2 spiral staircase tutorial

Haven't got to grips with this myself but it looks very nice.

I found the spiral staircase fun to get in to, and was one of only a few advance building techneqies i was able to do.
if i remember corectly it was just working with raised levels and foundations .

how far into this tutorial are you at the moment then

hehehe your evil but when i tried it it dosent show the stairs properly when your on the first floor. whats that all about?

I think it's because of the multi level thing. When you go down to the lowest level usually you can see below the foundation. When you make the spiral stairs you're combining the foundation with normal walls rather than building the walls on top, so I figure you'll only see the ground below the foundation when you work on the ground floor.

EDIT: I have to admit, though, I used the circular stairwell tutorial at mikeInside rather than the one from the TS2 site.

ok. i also found out if you want to make more than 1 floor you've got to start putting the steps on on the top floor first,
