The celebrity Sims were possible in the first game, so why not with newer games?

yah you can make ur pool any color you like now, wander what bon voyage is gonna be like.

    Seasons EP

Post by falloutboyrox007 on Sun Aug 26, 2007 7:48 am

Is it worth getting the seasons expansion? It looks pretty good but I'm not sure if I should get it or not cuz it'll make my game run even slower.

I'd say it was worth it for the new interactions and objects - your ponds would have fish in them and your Sims can catch them. I love the kitchen stuff they've added and the build mode objects.

Build it as a community lot first. Shame you lost the book - it tells you how to do it in there...

To create a hotel lot, enter a community lot, build your hotel

and SHIFT and then tap C. Type "changelotzoning hotel" (without the
    quotation marks) and press ENTER.

Yes, they actually advocate use of the lot zoning cheat to do it.

PS Sorry Rob, accidentally clicked the Edit icon instead of Quote. Hehehe.

I finally got mine Tuesday! I haven't seen everything yet and I haven't even gone on vacation yet, But did y'all hear about this bad bug that can make your game unplayable? It's posted on the official BBS. Let me see if I can find it. ^^

Here you go. I shortened it, but this will take you to the BBS. :)

Don't know about bugs in it, but I was pretty disappointed with the lack of new items in the game. It's nice to be able to build beach lots, however, even though I'm a little stuck for inspiration at present.

Next TS2 EP in Spring 2008

Post by Cyber on Sun Sep 16, 2007 5:15 pm

What do you think it'll be?

It says on the flyer included with Bon Voyage:

    EA/Maxis wrote:
NEW! Latest The Sims 2 Expansion Pack

Your Sims will enjoy new hobbies! Sims will have fun taking up creative, intellectual or active pursuits and meeting other Sims who share their interests. Will your Sims dabble in a variety of activities or dedicate themselves to excelling in their one true passion?

    Coming Spring 2008!

Does this mean that The Sims 3 is taking even longer in the making than we thought? :suspect:

What will it be this time? Some of the TS2 EPs have been copies of the original TS1 packs.

Livin' Large / House Party / Hot Date = Nightlife
    Unleashed = Pets
    On Vacation = Bon Voyage

Hobbies will be like superstar i think, like when you get realy good at a hobby, then people will recognise you for that.
(just get rid of that awful mini game where you got to pick the right combernation of actions i hated that )Laughing

yeah that did my head in, not only did you have to be in a good enough mood, and have enough star power and have good skill point but you had to pick the correct random combination!

Has anyone else bought Apartment Life yet?

Is the gameplay any better than the new content?
